Programme
 
 Day 1 (Canakkale-Gallipoli) B 
After breakfast we drive to Canakkale. ferry port to take the ferry to Gallipoli peninsul  wich will take about 30 minutes.Our Gallipoli Campaign begins today. The peninsula is filled with cemeteries, a war museum and many memorials to the tragic events of 1915. As you enter this almost barren land, you can still sense the war and heartache that once dominated the landscape, breaking the silent air.Our first visits will be to Anzac Cove and Beach Cemetery - home to one of Australia's most legendary soldiersPrivate John Simpson. We will then trace the steps of the ANZACs up into the rugged hills to visit the Shrapnel Valley,North Beach,Quinn's Post,The Nek ,Russell's Top Anzac Memorials at Lone Pine ,and Chunuk Bair. Amongst the numerous sights also visited will be Shrapnel Valley, Walker’s Ridge, the Nek and the surrounding trenches. Our last stop on the Gallipoli Peninsula will be the Kapatebe War Museum with its absorbing collection of war relics and memorabilia. Afternoon we cross Dardanelles by ferry. We have included to spend the afternoon in the vibrant town of Canakkale. You will visit Cimenlik Castle ( With no reason sometimes it is not open to the visiters)which Sultan Memhet II built in 1452. The fort today contains a fascinating military museum and beside it is the Turkish navy's minelayer, Nusrat, whose undetected mine laying activities led to the sinking of Allied warships in 1915. We then check into our central Canakkale hotel, where we stay the next three nights. This evening a local historian will meet with us and give an interesting overview of the Gallipoli Campaign from the Turkish perspective. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
 
Day 2 (Canakkale-Gallipoli) B L D
In the morning we take the ferry across Dardanelles for a day touring of the southern Helles area and battlefields, British landing  beaches and memorials of the battles in this area such as V Beach, River Clyde Dock, The Castle, Morto Bay, Abide (Turkish Monument),Twelve Tree Cops Cemetery, Helles, Dardanos batteries , including the Ottoman and Allied areas of conflict.  We visit Ahcıbaba Hill which was strategicly an important place during the war to see battlefields from there to understantand contitions better. Return by ferry to Canakkale to have lunch in a local restaurant.  On the way to hotel visit, Dardanos batteries and ancient Troy archaeological site. Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
 
 Day 3 (Canakkale,Istanbul)   B
This morning,after breakfast we drive back to Istanbul .Rest of the day is free in Istanbul, or on the way to Istanbul city transfer to the airport for your flight out.
